In the Name of Leonardo I

As the name of this series suggests, the inspiration for it comes from the Renaissance genius Leonardo da Vinci. I love his portraits of women in particular, and how he seems to capture the ambivalence and complexity of their existence. Sometimes they appear mysterious, almost secretive, and at other times I think they know exactly what they want from life.
