From the 'Souls Carving' series, this is another piece. I’ve been experimenting with texture by painting and carving the wooden blocks, aiming to introduce a new dynamism to the work. The blocks continue to be sourced from the same source: skips filled with old scraps salvaged from Victorian houses in northwest London.
